ParkCR GCT Parking ramp
This was a great project to beautify the Cedar Rapids downtown landscape and assist with wayfinding in the GTC parking ramp. The swirling sky of Starry Night was painted on the outside of the grey walls that face the street. Each interior level by the elevator was painted in the same color scheme of that level. It was an amazing transformation for downtown Cedar Rapids, showing that ParkCR as a thought leader in their community by promoting the arts and making ParkCR patrons feel good about their parking experience. Location is between 4th Avenue SE and 5th Avenue SE at 1st Street SE to 2nd Street SE. Black Earth Gallery Art Consulting was the project director and Dosed Creations was the artist.
